The short version
- You don’t need an account. The only thing we ask for is a nickname.
- We don’t show ads, we don’t use analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t sell or share your data.
- Your settings, coins and favorites are saved in your own browser, not on our servers.
- Online rooms live in our server’s memory only while you play, and are gone when the room closes.
Who we are
Fun Games Online (“we”, “us”) runs the website fungamesonlinefree.com and its games. If you have any question about this policy or your data, write to us at hello@fungamesonlinefree.com.
What is saved on your device
To remember your choices, the site saves a few things in your browser’s storage on your own device. We can’t see them.
- Settings: sound and music volume, language, graphics quality, text size, controls and key bindings, and your nickname.
- Shop and games: your coin balance, the items you own and wear, and your favorite games.
- Current session (cleared when you close the tab): a random device code, the room you’re in, the match you set up and who plays with which controls.
- One cookie,
fpg_player, keeps your nickname and the date you first picked it for one year, so the lobby doesn’t ask for your name every time. Your browser sends it along when it loads our pages, but our server doesn’t read or keep it. - Offline copy: the site keeps copies of its own files (code, fonts, pages) on your device so it loads faster and works offline.
None of this is used to track you or to show ads.
What online rooms send to our server
When you create or join a room, your browser connects to our game server and sends what the game needs to work: your nickname, the colors you picked, ready and lobby choices, your moves during a match, and a random device code (so you get your seat back if you reload the page). Other players in the room see your nickname, color and moves.
Rooms exist only in the server’s memory. We don’t save room contents, nicknames or matches in a database. A room is deleted after everyone has left.
If the host makes a room public, its host nickname, game and number of players are listed in the public room list so strangers can join. Private rooms are never listed; only people with the code or link can join.
Hosting
The website and the game server run on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. You can read how they handle it in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Children
Fun Games Online is made for players of all ages. We don’t ask for real names, email addresses, ages, photos or locations, and there is no text or voice chat between players. We suggest kids use a nickname that isn’t their real full name. If you think a child has shared personal information with us, contact us and we will remove what we can.
Purchases
Coins are earned by playing and are not real money. Buying coins is not available yet. If we add paid purchases, a payment provider will handle the payment and we will update this policy before it goes live.
Your choices
- Delete everything: Settings → Account → Log out removes your nickname cookie and the settings, coins, items and favorites saved in your browser. Closing the tab clears the current session. To remove the offline copy too, clear your browser’s data for this site.
- Change your name: Settings → Account → Nickname, or the pencil on your player card in a lobby.
- Questions or requests: depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have rights to access or delete your data. Because we don’t keep personal data on our servers, there is usually nothing to hand over, but write to hello@fungamesonlinefree.com and we will answer.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
